2 Terms
2.0.1 Thermalization coefficient
The ratio of the rated heat supply capacity of a heat supply unit(lessself-consumed steam heat)to the maximum design heating load.
2.0.2 Simultaneity factor
The ratio of the maximum heat load of a region(enterprise)to the sum of the maximum heat loads of all consumers(workshops).
2.0.3 Micro filtration
A membrane separation technology with a filtration fineness of 0.1-1.0μm.
2.0.4 Ultra filtration
A membrane separation technology with a filtration fineness of 0.01-0.1μm.
2.0.5 On line UPS
An uninterruptable power supply with AC sinusoidal wave output whose inverter is always on whether the AC working power supply is normal or not.In the event that the AC working power supply fails, the inverter operates to change direct current to alternating current thereby ensuring uninterruptible power supply(UPS)for loads.
2.0.6 Electrical control and management system(ECMS)
A fieldbus technology-based computer system that employs an open and distributed network structure and is intended to monitor and manage the electrical equipment of power plants such as generatortransformer units and high voltage(HV)and low voltage(LV)auxiliary power supplies.
2.0.7 Network computerized control system(NCCS)
A fieldbus technology-based computer system that employs an open and distributed network structure and is intended to monitor and manage the power network system or equipment in a step-up station.
2.0.8 Operator station
A human-machine interface equipment of the control system that is installed in the control room allowing the operator to perform monitoring and control.
2.0.9 Parallel change-over
The change-over operation in which the opening order for the circuit breaker of the HV station service power supply and the closing order for the circuit breaker of the standby power source are issued simultaneously.
2.0.10 High speed change-over
The emergency change-over of high-voltage auxiliary power supplies of power plants that can be completed within 100ms.
2.0.11 Engineer station
A human-machine interface of the control system that is installed in the control room or other places allowing the programmer and configurator to modify logics, pictures and parameters.
2.0.12 Air cooled heat exchangers
Heat dissipation equipment which uses air as the cooling medium to cool the circulating water in the indirect air cooling system.
2.0.13 Air cooled condensers
Heat dissipation equipment which uses air as the cooling medium to directly condense the steam exhausted from the turbine into water.
2.0.14 Drought exponent
The ratio of annual evaporation capacity to annual rainfall in a region.
2.0.15 Severe cold region
A region where the mean temperature of the coldest month(namely, outdoor design temperature for winter ventilation)over years is not higher than-10℃.
2.0.16 Cold region
A region where the mean temperature of the coldest month(namely, outdoor design temperature for winter ventilation)over years is not higher than 0℃but higher than-10℃.
