4 Mineral Processing Experiments
4.1 Representativeness of Samples
4.1.1 The mineral composition, ore texture and structure, element or compound content, composition distribution status, disseminated grain size characteristics, silt inclusion, moisture inclusion, and other physical and chemical properties of the ore samples shall be in conformity with the ore characteristics from the mining area or the mined ores as represented by the ore with the same grade and natural type.
4.1.2 The proportion of various grades and various types of the ore samples shall match the proportion of geological ore quantity and extracted ore quantity from the representative mining zones.
4.1.3 The ore sample shall be in conformity with the ore features from the representative mining zones in term of various grade class, average grade and grade frequency and distribution characteristics of useful and detrimental element.
4.1.4 According to the waste rock dilution rate during the mining process, the ore sample shall be mixed with the roof and floor rock and intercalary strata rock with corresponding quantity, the mineral composition and chemical constituent of which shall be similar with the actual ore from the mining process.
4.1.5 The ore sample shall be taken respectively, when the properties of the ores in oxidized ore zone, blending ore zone and primary ore zone are quite different,or when the properties of the ores are quite different between the earlier mining stage and later stage. When the samples cannot be mined respectively, the sample shall be mixed according to the actual mining proportions.
