AS FAR AS I KNOW
I am not really detached from my poetry
When poetry becomes a necessity, writing
means throwing dice with God
My father taught me with his whole life
failing is not so embarrassing
This man who never acknowledged his own father
beseeched me at his death bed
to figure out who his father had been
As far as I know, poetry cannot answer
such an unfathomable question
Poetry grows from tilled fields
After seeds are sown
before rapeseed flowers bloom
is a period of uncertainty
I enjoy returning home in late spring
following the back view of many disappeared
They flung dice as well and
they remained calm at their failure
Yet the calmer they were, the closer they were
to what is known as the poetic. As far as I know
the purpose of writing poetry is
to become such an elusive father
