7　Main Power Building Arrangement

7.1　General Requirements

7.1.1　The general layout of the main power building shall be adaptable to the power and heat generation process and ensure that the equipment layout is rational and compact，the connection of pipelines is short and neat，and the building layout is simple and aesthetic.

7.1.2　The layout of the main power building shall make it possible for safe operation and easy maintenance and allow unobstructed patrol inspection accesses.The air quality，ventilation，natural daylighting，illumination and noises in the main power building shall comply with the current national standards.The equipment for special purposes shall be properly protected and comply with the requirements on fire prevention，explosion prevention，corrosion prevention，freeze protection and protection against toxic substances，etc.

7.1.3　The layout of the main power building shall be determined through techno-economic comparison based on natural conditions，general planning，features of the main and auxiliary equipment，construction site，extension conditions，etc.

7.1.4　The layout of the main power building shall be determined based on the requirements of the layout of the plant area and equipment arrangement of various process systems inside the main power building as well as the extension conditions of the power plant.The buildings extended should be in harmony with the existing buildings.

7.1.5　Inside the main power building，necessary lifting facilities，maintenance areas and transportation accesses shall be provided for maintenance of equipment and parts.
