Bright as they are, the sun and the moon cruise and rest;

At the reeds by the bank lies the appointed place.

The sun set, my growing worry can’t be assess’d;

Now that th’ moon’s up, for your absence what is the case?

Not knowing what to do, I’m more and more distress’d!
