Abstract

The book includes nine chapters. The first five chapters, deal with the stylistic features and creation process of the lyrics, the construction of image and artistic creation, and its genre, melody, rhetoric, and also try to differentiate the right and the wrong of the lyrics art. The last four chapters elaborate the creation principle and method of 20 kinds of lyrics: family love, friendship, romance, nostalgia, patriotic, philanthropy, expressing ideal, philosophical, aesthetic, life, allegory, chant of thing, scenery description, narrative, chant of history, folk, children, military, sports and image, which come to belong to the subjective feelings and objective.

The book has a series of original ideas, such as: creation dues to discover, either finds a poetic（feelings, rational interest, aesthetic）, or finds a way to express（image, language）. Art is not only from life, but also from other arts. As Adam as works of art created by God, which is directly to the life of the soil. God created Eev not by earth but one of Adam's ribs. The theory stated in this book is concise and lively. The lyrics given for example are then chosen the model of excellent work as far as possible, including classical poetry, folk songs, foreign songs, and given priority to today's Chinese pop song lyrics. Other negative examples are aid to tell the reader that the lyrics can't write like this. The book is vivid and fluent, fresh and readable.
