Situated in the geographical center of China’s territory, Shaanxi enjoys a unique location by connecting the south and north of China and linking the east and west of the country. As an important cradle of the Chinese nation and culture, Shaanxi boasts spiritual markers and natural symbols of the Chinese civilization, Chinese revolution and Chinese geography, including the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Yan’an Pagoda, the Qinling Mountain Range, and Mount Hua. Shaanxi has been an important gateway to the outside world since ancient times. With the implementation of the Belt & Road Initiative, Shaanxi has become the forefront in opening to the west, and is booming with great vitality in high-quality development.
