白雪公主 Snow White
在一个冬天，一位王后生下了一个小公主。这位公主像雪一样纯洁美丽，因此大家都叫她白雪公主。
Once upon a time in winter, a queen gave birth to a baby girl. The baby girl was white as snow, and she was called Little Snow White.
但没过多久，王后生病去世了。国王又娶了一位新王后，这位新王后虽然长得很美丽，但心肠却很恶毒。
But soon after the child was born, the queen passed away. The king married again. His new wife was a beautiful, but cruel, woman.
新王后有一面神奇的魔镜。她每天都会问魔镜：“魔镜，魔镜，谁是世界上最美丽的女人？”
魔镜总是回答她：“您是全世界最美丽的女人。”
The new queen had a magic mirror. Each day, the queen looked in the mirror and asked.
“Mirror, mirror, who is the fairest of them all?”
“You are the fairest of them all,” replied the mirror.
时光飞逝，白雪公主长大了，成为一个漂亮的女孩。有一天，当新王后再问魔镜同样的问题时，魔镜却回答说：“白雪公主是全世界最美丽的女人。”
愤怒的王后叫来猎人，命令他去杀掉白雪公主。
Years passed and Snow White grew into a stunningly beautiful young girl. One day, when the new queen asked the mirror her usual question, the mirror spoke.“Snow White is the fairest of them all.”
The angry queen summoned her huntsman to kill Snow White.
猎人很善良，他非常同情白雪公主。
“快跑吧，白雪公主，”他说，“快跑，不要回头。”
白雪公主逃到森林深处，发现了一间小木屋。
The huntsman was a kind man, and he took pity on the girl.
“Run, Snow White,” he said.“Run and don't look back.”
Snow White ran deep into the forest. Until she came upon a cottage.
小木屋里住着七个小矮人。小矮人们认真地听白雪公主讲述了自己的经历。
“留在我们这里吧，”他们说，“你在这儿会很安全的，但你一定要记住，不要给陌生人开门。”
There lived seven dwarves. They listened quietly as Snow White told them her story.
“Stay with us,” they said.“You will be safe here, but remember never to answer to strangers at the door.”
新王后知道这件事后，生气极了。她乔装成老太太，提着一篮子毒苹果，来到了森林里。
The new queen became very angry when she learned about what happened. She transformed herself into an old woman. Then, she filled a basket with poisoned apples and set off into the forest.
“咚咚。”王后来到小屋的门前。
“亲爱的，想要一个多汁的苹果吗？”
白雪公主忘记了小矮人的警告。她拿了一个苹果，咬了一口。
Tap-tap, went the queen on the door of the cottage.
“A juicy, ripe apple for you, my dear?”
Snow White forgot the dwarves' warning. She got an apple, and took a bite.
小矮人回到家时，发现白雪公主已经倒在了地上。他们伤心地哭着，决定把白雪公主安葬在森林里，好让鸟儿和动物可以来看她。
When the dwarves came home, they found Snow White lying on the floor, as if she were dead. They cried for their lost friend, and decided to lay her in the forest, where the birds and the animals can see her.
一位年轻的王子经过这里，他很同情白雪公主，想帮助小矮人们安葬她。他们一不小心把水晶棺材撞在了树上，没想到，白雪公主喉咙里的毒苹果被震了出来。
A prince came riding through the forest. He took pity on Snow White and wanted to help the dwarves. Together, they slammed the crystal coffin into the tree, and unexpectedly, the poisonous apple in Snow White's throat was shaken out.
白雪公主和王子爱上了彼此，他们很快就结婚了。至于邪恶的王后，她听说白雪公主还活着后，便气得生了一场大病，不久便死掉了。
The prince and Snow White fell in love and were soon married. As for the wicked queen, on hearing that Snow White was still alive, she became so angry that she fell ill and then died.
