Since its inception in 2012, the Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (hereinafter referred to as China-CEEC Cooperation) has helped increase significantly practical cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (hereinafter referred to as CEECs) in a wide range of areas. As an outstanding example of cross-regional cooperation, China-CEEC Cooperation has attracted extensive attention, as it has managed to increase high-level visits and exchanges and bolster efficient trade and investment cooperation, as well as fruitful infrastructural, agricultural, science and innovation, financial services, local, people-to-people and cultural cooperation between the two sides, through the various sectoral cooperation mechanisms under the China-CEEC Cooperation format. By reviewing the progress of China-CEEC Cooperation since its start, we hope to help boost confidence of all parties in the format and bring practical cooperation to a new height.
