Usage

If you do need to use one of the supplied snippets, it's very easy to do; just drag and drop the snippet from the Utilities pane into the appropriate place in your code. In order to save yourself some scrolling, assuming you know (or can guess) the name of the snippet, use the Filter bar at the bottom of the snippet list (see the previous screenshot).

Xcode's own snippets do not have a keyboard shortcut, but you can add them to your own (see the following section).

Now, if you've never used a factory-supplied snippet, you're in good company, because I don't think I have either, but if you've never created your own, it's about time you did. I promise you, you'll be glad of it.
