The HoloLens is powerful, more powerful than an average laptop. It continuously processes millions of data every millisecond. Despite such a high processing rate, it does not overheat. It has downward vents placed on both sides of the band, which maintain the airflow from the device. This keeps the device at a comfortable temperature range so that there is no discomfort even when it is worn for an extended period.
