Asset

An asset is items, property, information, or people that have a high value to the company and should be safeguarded/protected. Every company records all assets in all possible ways. Some companies use a balance sheet to record their assets. An asset can be a tangible asset; this includes physical assets such as buildings, or equipment such as network devices and phones.
