Prerequisites for installation

For this chapter you will need a 64 GB thumb drive, a copy of Kali burned to a DVD and a machine with a DVD player and USB capabilities on boot. You can download Kali at https://www.kali.org/downloads/ and look for the link to download the version you want. The following screenshot shows part of the download page:

Since we showed you several distributions of Kali in Chapter 1, Choosing Your Distro, the following screenshot shows what happens when you download all the available Kali Linux ISO files at one time.
