6.3 Generator and Exciter

6.3.1 The installation of platens,bolts,bearing pedestals,and shaft bearings shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1 Before install platen,firstly set up gasket iron,the setup method of gasket iron and requirement shall comply with the related regulation of Article 6.2.2 of this code;after the platen is set up,firstly tighten the anchor bolt,the top of bolt is 5mm lower than the platen upper plane,and fix the nut through point welding on the bolt countersunk with half-moon plate;the platen surface shall be smooth without burrs;

2 The installation of bearing pedestal and shaft bearing shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1)Kerosene penetration test to the bearing pedestal shall be carried out and qualified;

2)The bottom surface of bearing foundation and the matched gasket shall be smooth without burrs;

3)Before the bearing pedestal is set up,confirm that the bottom and the gasket are dry without ash dust and oil dirty;and after the bearing pedestal is set up,immediately tighten the connecting bolt between bearing pedestal and the platen,and carry out water-resisting or oil-resisting measures according to the connecting surface edges;after the couplers are connected,nail the insulation pin into the ream,and the insulation between the bearing pedestal and the platen shall comply with the regulation of equipment technical documentation;

4)The checking and installation of shaft bearing shall comply with the related regulations of the Article 6.2.6 of this code.

6.3.2 The checking and installation of generator rotor shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1 The roundness and cylindricity,the spoon-shaled deflection,the popping of the joint front edge shall not be larger than 0.03mm;

2 The rotor surface shall be clean without debris,the weights shall be reliably fixed,the fan at the top shall be well without damage,the blade shall be fixed installed,and the sliding ring outlet shall be well without damage;

3 Checking the stator interior before inserting rotor,the stator interior shall be cleaned without debris.

6.3.3 Checking and installation of stator shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1 Purging to the stator interior with the dried and filtered compressed air of above 0.3MPa pressure;

2 The stator core shall be well without corrosion,damage and debris,the stator wedge shall be well without projection,cracks,and loosening situations,the stator end wedge shall be tightly embedded;

3 The stator winding interior shall be clear,the surface shall be well without scars,insulation paint removing,and bubbles;the winding of the stator end shall be tight,orderly and completed;

4 The elevation of embedded and the platen at the top of generator air chamber shall comply with the regulations of design documentation;

5 The magnetic center and the air clearance shall comply with the regulations of equipment technical documentation;

6 While installing the stator end covering,the clearance between sealing ring and the rotor shall comply with the regulations of equipment technical documentation.

6.3.4 The installation of air cooler shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1 Before installation,the pressure test to the air cooler shall be carried out and checked to be without leakage;

2 The vertical and horizontal centerlines and elevation of the air cooler installation position shall comply with the regulations of design documentation;

3 The joint between air cooler end and the air passage edge shall be sealed.

6.3.5 The installation of exciter proper shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1 The surface of stator and rotor shall be well without damage,and all accessories and cables shall be fixed connected;

2 The magnetic center and the air clearance shall comply with the regulations of equipment technical documentation;

3 The shaking value of the exciter tail end shall be smaller than 0.02mm.
