3.4 Wire Pole Examination
3.4.1 Annular reinforced concrete pole shall meet the following requirements:
1 The cone angle of the cone-shaped poles shall be 1∶75.
2 The outer appearance quality of concrete poles shall meet the following requirements:
1)Circular or vertical cracks shall not be available on the surface of prestressed and partially prestressed concrete poles.Vertical crack shall not be available on reinforced concrete poles,and the circular cracks hereof shall not be greater than 0.05mm in width.Turtleback or watery cracking are not considered as surface cracks.
2)For the pole,no mortar leakage shall be available on the grindered-side commissure,or the juncture between steel plate and pole.
3)No partial bumping damage shall be available on the pole.
4)No steel reinforcement shall be exposed on both inside and outside surface of the pole,and no concrete caving on the inside surface,and no honeycomb on the outside surface.
5)No pitted skin or onion skin shall be available on the surface of pole.
6)No concrete damage shall be available surrounding the preserved hole(opening).
3 In one of the cases below,concrete poles can be used after being repaired:
1)The total area of pitted skin or onion skin per meter of the pole is not greater than 5% of the surface area along the same meter.
2)The depth of the mortar leakage shall not be greater than 10mm on the mold-side joint of the pole;for each mortar leakage,its length shall not be greater than 300mm,and the accumulated length here of shall not be greater than 10% of the pole length,and the over lapping length of the symmetric mortar leakage section shall not be greater than 100mm.
3)For the mortar leakage at the juncture between steel coil disc or flange and pole body,its depth shall not be greater than 10mm,and its circular length shall not be greater than 1/4 of the perimeter,and its vertical length shall not be greater than 50mm.
4)For the bumping damage on the pole,the depth is not greater than 10mm,and the area per damage is not greater than 50cm2.
4 Acceptable measurement deviation of concrete pole dimensions shall be as follows:
1)Allowable deviation for the length of the entire pole is-40mm to+20mm and for assembled poles,±10mm.
2)Allowable deviationfor outerdiameter ofpoles is-2mm to+4mm.
3)Allowable deviation for thickness of poles is-2mm to+10mm.
4)Allowable deviation of distance between two vertical prefabricated holes is±4mm.Acceptable diameter deviation of prefabricated hole is+2mm.
5 Name or trademark of manufacturer shall be marked on the surface of poles.For poles with top diameter not less than 190mm,the mark shall be imprinted 3.5m above the bottom of pole while for poles with top diameter less than 190mm,it shall be imprinted 3.0m above the bottom.
6 Product conformity certificate shall be sealed by the technical examination department of the manufacturer,bearing name,trademark,address and telephone number of the manufacturer,production date and manufactory dates,standards applied,product type,model,specification and load-bearing level,test results of compressivestrength of concrete,test results of vertical tensile strength,examination results of dimensional deviation of packaging,mechanical performance,etc.
3.4.2 When it is difficult to determine the quality of a concrete pole by visual examination,mechanical properties may bereviewed byentities concerned and the manufacturer.
3.4.3 Wooden poles shall meet the following requirements when examined:
1 Immersion depth and preservative root treatment of oil-treated wooden poles shall meet the design requirements.
2 In any of the following cases,the specific pole must not be used:
1)Length deviation over+200mm to-100mm;
2)Top diameter 10mm less than the designated;
3)The bendingis greater than 2% of the total length of the pole.
