7.3　Submersible Oil Pump and Submersible Water Pumps

7.3.1　Submersible oil pumps and submersible water pumps shall be set in each cavern tank.

7.3.2　The submersible oil and water pumps shall be set up according to the following requirements:

1　The outlets of the pumps shall be provided with check valves；

2　An anti-vibration measure shall be taken for the pumps；

3　The spare submersible oil pump is not necessary for each cavern tank；however，at least two submersible water pumps shall be provided for each cavern tank；

4　Monitoring and protection devices shall be provided for the submersible oil pump，the submersible water pumps，and their support devices，so as to monitor parameters such as pump shaft temperature，rotor temperature，stator temperature，motor current，motor coolant temperature and protect them.
