7 Storage and Transportation
7.1 General Requirements
7.1.1 In the water-sealed cavern storage,the number of cavern tanks storing each oil product should be at least 2.The capacity of each crude oil cavern tank should be at least 400,000m3 and the capacity of each oil product cavern tank should be at least 200,000m3.
7.1.2 The process flow shall meet the following requirements:
1 Receive the incoming oils;
2 Store them in different cavern tanks according to their types;
3 Transport the outgoing oils outward;
4 Meter the incoming and outgoing oils;
5 Transfer oils between tanks;
6 Lift the fissure water in the cavern tanks for disposal;
7 Oil/gas treatment.
7.1.3 The engineering designs of the water-sealed cavern storage's oil pump station,oil loading/unloading facilities,and pipelines shall comply with the currently effective national standard Code for Design of Oil Depot(GB 50074).The design of the oil transport pipelines outside the storage shall comply with the currently effective national standard Code for Design of Oil Transportation Pipeline(GB 50253).
