9.3　Oil Tank and Accessories

9.3.1　The erection of the metal tanks shall be constructed according to the design requirements and meet the related requirements of GB 50128 Code for construction and acceptance of vertical cylindrical steel welded storage tanks.

9.3.2　The erection of the accessories of the oil tanks shall meet the following requirements:

1　The compensation mode for the tube bundle type heater shall meet the drawing requirements.The drain slope shall be coordinated with the main pipe drain slope，and after the erection of the heater has been completed，hydrostatic test shall be carried out under 1.25 times the work pressure and it shall be qualified.

2　The oil return pipe in the low location arrangement should be lead to the tank body center and shall be picked up so as to prevent short circuit of any oil supply.

3　The opening and closing of the inspection hole and the dip hatch shall be flexible.The washers on the joining surface shall be fixed tightly.

4　The leak test shall be carried out for the float in the oil level measurement device.The guide parallelism and verticality shall meet the design drawing requirements.The wire rope shall be connected firmly，and there shall be no jam for the guide pulley.

5　The oil level scale surface shall be flat.The scale shall be accurate and clear，and there shall be no jam for the operation of the pointer.

6　The breather valves or the relief valves shall be safe and reliable，and the models and specifications shall meet the design requirements.

7　The oil supply-return pipes，oil unloading pipes，steam pipes and so on shall be connected with the oil tank by the metal flexible tube which shall be involved in hydrostatic test.

9.3.3　Before the closing of oil tanks，the internal comprehensive inspection shall be carried out，and the certification shall be conducted for the concealed work.
