Foreword

This code was jointly prepared by Northern Engineering and Technology Corporation，MCC and other companies according to the requirements of Document Jian Biao（2007）No.126 issued by Ministry of Construction（MOC）-Notice on Printing the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards & Codes（Batch 2）.

During preparing this Code，the team of preparing This code has conducted extensive investigation and analysis and carefully summarized the experience of design and production of metal mines of our country，and coordinated with the relative standards and codes and drawn experience from the relative standards and codes.The team also extensively solicited the opinions from various aspects including designing，scientific research institutes，colleges and universities and production companies.After many times discussion and repeatedly modification，this Code was reviewed and finalized.

This code comprises 11 chapters with main contents of general provisions，terms and symbol，basic requirements，mining geology，mining water control，rock mechanics，open pit mining，underground mining，mining machinery，shaft sinking and drifting，mining safety and environmental protection.

The provision（s）printed in bold type is（are）compulsory one（ones）and must be enforced strictly.
