1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This code is developed to strengthen construction quality management of petrochemical projects，standardize quality examination and acceptance for metallic piping construction in petrochemical industry to guarantee the piping construction quality.

1.0.2　This code is applicable to construction quality examination and acceptance of metallic piping at design pressure less than 42Mpa and design temperature not lower than-196℃in petrochemical industry.

1.0.3　This code specifies the basic requirements of quality examination and acceptance for metallic piping construction in petrochemical industry.In case of any conflicts between this code and state laws，administrative rules and regulations，state laws，administrative rules and regulations shall govern.

1.0.4　In addition to this code，construction quality examination and acceptance for metallic piping shall also comply with current state codes and standards.
