5　Acceptance of Materials and Finished Products

5.1　Acceptance of Metal Materials

5.1.1　Metal materials such as plates，pipes，standard flanges，sectional materials，fasteners and steel grating shall be attached with product identifications and quality certificates.All material types，specifications and applicable standards shall be consistent with stipulations in the design documents or contracts.Acceptance shall be made in accordance with the current national standards or relevant foreign standards as applicable，where no specific requirements are available.In event of any disputes，supplementary inspection is required，and a valid inspection report shall be furnished by a qualified authoritative agency.

5.1.2　All carbon steel plates or alloy plates shall be visually inspected on piece-by-piece basis prior to fabrication.The appearance quality shall comply with the provisions of the current national standards for steel as applicable.

5.1.3　The sum of thickness loss of the plate surface due to rust，scratch depth and the actual minus deviation shall not be greater than the permissible minus deviation as specified in the steel plate standards as applicable.
