1　Scope

This Standard provides technical requirements on the construction and acceptance for absorbers used in wet flue gas desulphurization（WFGD）devices of a thermal power plant.

This Standard applies to the construction and acceptance of any absorber in a WFGD device of a thermal power plant，of which the main structure is made of common carbon steel and the internal anticorrosion lining is made of glass resin flake or rubber.The absorber comprises of the shell，internals，and all accessories or structures welded to the external surface of the shell.
