About the Author

Wang Jin, male, was born in October 1960 in Wuhan, Hubei Province. He is now a full professor at Peking University Law School, the Director of Peking University Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Institute, and the Director of Peking University Nuclear Policy and Law Research Center.His major research covers environmental law, natural resources law and nuclear law.

Professor Wang Jin received his PhD degree in environmental law from Peking University Law School in 1997. During the PhD study in Peking University, he was sent as a visiting scholar to Uppsala University in Sweden in 1995 to research European environmental Law and as an exchange PhD candidate to Hosei University in Japan to study Japanese environmental law at 1996 to 1997.Besides, he once served as a teaching assistant and then as a lecturer at Wuhan University Law School from 1986 to 1994，and as public health physician at Wuhan Qingshan Health and Epidemic Prevention Station from 1983 to 1986.
