1.8 Chapter layout

The book consists of six chapters. Apart from this introductory chapter, Chapter 2 focuses on the ST and the reasons for choosing this text. Chapter 3 traces the production of the two translations and includes a description of why and how the translators chose to translate the ST. The backgrounds of the translators are also discussed. In Chapter 4, a review of the literature on the relevant translation theories is provided. Chapter 5 entails the analysis of the translations from the perspective of DTS. Chapter 6 will conclude the study by summarizing the findings from the comparisons and analysis of the two translations conducted in the previous chapters. Topics for further research will also be given in Chapter 6.
