职场上有竞争、有压力,这是再正常不过的事了。面对竞争,难免会有压力。其实有适当的压力也不是什么坏事,正如人们常说的那样,有压力才有动力。可是过大的压力,于生理于精神都不好,这就需要我们正确处理。这节我们将一起学习如何表达应对压力的技巧。

面对这么多的工作,我不禁感到压力很大。
TIPS: cannot help doing sth,意即“情不自禁做某事”。注意help后要接动名词形式。
3) My boss puts so much pressure on...
My boss puts so much pressure on + me that I feel I'm driven mad.
我老板给我很大压力,我觉得自己被逼得要疯了。
TIPS: put pressure on... 意即“对……施加压力”,介词on后通常接表示人的名词或者代词。
4) I have to...
I have to+ finish the task before 9 a.m. tomorrow.
我必须得在明天上午9点之前完成这项任务。
TIPS: have to do sth. 意思是“不得不做某事”。
5) How to...
How to + counteract stress?
如何消除压力?
TIPS: 在英语口语中,一些特殊疑问词如how, when, where, what, who 等,后可直接接动词不定式形式,表示疑问。再如:What to do next? 下一步做什么啊?
6) Is there anything I can do to...
Is there anything I can do to + help you?
我能为你做点什么?
TIPS: 这是提供帮助的常用句型,相当于“May I help you?”。
7) I am capable of...
I am capable of + easing pressure.
我有能力减压。
TIPS: be capable of 是表达“有能力做某事”的常见句型。of 后通常接动名词形式。
8) You need to strike a balance between...
You need to strike a balance between + work and relaxation.
你应该在工作与放松之间找到一个平衡点。
TIPS: need to do是表示“需要/应该做某事”的常用句型。而strike a balance between... 是一个固定词组,表示:在……之间找到平衡。
9) I encourage you to...
I encourage you to + take an after-work aerobic class.
我建议你参加一个工作之余的健身培训班。
TIPS: 这是提出建议的常见句型,encourage 本来的意思是“鼓励”。类似的句型还有I suggest/ advice 等。

We can take steps to + control our emotions, and avoid stress.
我们能够采取措施控制我们的感情,避免遭受到更大的压力。
TIPS: We can take steps to do sth. 是表示采取措施的常见句型,意思是“我们能够采取措施来做某事”。表达“采取措施”的短语还有take measures to do sth.。
