About the Author

Marshall Engelbeck retired from the Air Force after 28 years of service. He has a B.S. in General Business and an M.S. in Logistics Management. While in the Air Force, he had over eight years experience working with government contracts. In the Air Force, he also held positions of Base Commander, Logistics Support Group Commander, Director of Logistics, Integrated Logistics Support Staff Officer, and Aircraft Maintenance Officer. After retiring from the military, Marshall spent ten years as a Senior Contract and Proposal Manager with the Defense Communications Division of Rockwell-Collins in Richardson, Texas. During this period, he also taught Management of Government Contracts and Contemporary Contracting at the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management. He has also been active in governing the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, serving on the Town Council and as Mayor.
