Comprehensively Safeguarding National Security
Abstract: Contemporary national security includes twelve basic elements:national security, homeland security, resource security, economic security, social security, political security, military security, sovereign security, cultural security, technological security, ecological security and information security. The comprehensive safeguard of national security means comprehensively ensuring the security of these traditional and non-traditional elements mentioned above. To this end, countries need to build, including traditional and non-traditional measures and two types of institutions, a comprehensive national security system. President Xi's series of speeches on national security, especially the overall national security concept, contains the important idea of “comprehensively safeguarding national security”. Therefore, it is necessary to combine “comprehensive national security protection”with “four comprehensive”and upgrade the “four comprehensive”to “five comprehensive”, namely: “building a well-off society in an all -round way; comprehensively safeguarding national security;comprehensively deepening reform, comprehensively administering the country according to law. ”
