Current Status and Development of Aquaculture Model of Marine Fish and Analysis of Industrial Economic in China

Abstract: China has a long history in marine fish farming. In 1980s, with the breakthrough of breeding technology, the industry developed fast, and led to the fourth wave of aquaculture in China. At present, there are 3 kinds of marine fish farming models, which are factory, pond, and cage. Each model has different characters, and suitable for different fish species and regions. This paper introduced the major marine fish farming models existing in China and its development trend, and analysis the effects of“The thirteenth five year plan of national fishery development”on marine fish breeding industry chain, management mode, industrial capital, information technology support, fishery, recreational fisheries and other aspects affected.
