As we can see in the picture, some tourists are behaving in uncivilized ways. The old tree is carved with characters, and some people even climb the tree to take photos disregarding the “No Climbing” notice. These uncivilized behaviors show that many people lack the awareness of proper behaviors when traveling. These uncivilized behaviors are really shameful to our country and our people. Such behaviors must be avoided. Besides, if these uncivilized behaviors appeared in foreign countries, international image of China will be seriously affected.
I think the government should play a role in education and regulation. Public manners in tourism should be given higher priority in school education, and legal devices can also be used to regulate people’s uncivilized behaviors in tourism.

The picture shows us some bad behaviors of some tourists. They carve words and climb the old tree of the tourist attractions though knowing such behaviors are forbidden. As a college student, I find it so embarrassing to see some of our people behave so badly.
Examples of improper behaviors are not far to seek. Some people speak loudly in public places, throw rubbish, spit everywhere, and cross the road ignoring the traffic lights. No one can deny that such bad behaviors have caused great damage to the image of Chinese people and our country as well.
Measures should be taken to stop this. Every one of us must obey social and public order, and respect local religions and customs. Besides, laws should be made to punish those who behave badly in public places.
